I've tested mine when 850W Corsair - worked just fine with 7950x3D. But too close for comfort long term, hence moved to 1kW Corsair one (on sale in many places, very silent). Plenty of headroom now. What's the recommended psu Watts for a 5090? currently have a seasonic 850w.

I can hear that and my hearing is not that great.Either my hearing has suddenly improved massively or my 5070 Ti has developed some pretty irritating coil whine in the past week. I was pretty adamant it was my motherboard so tried my GPU in my Intel build - still the same issue. Eventually just took the GPU out of both builds and they were silent, as soon as I put the 5070 Ti back in then the noise starts.
I wouldn't be too annoyed if it was only happening at full load or when I'm running uncapped - but it's almost more noticeable at idle! I can't workout if it's related to the heat and it being more chilly recently meaning the card gets 'quieter' as it gets warmer? Tempted to try an RMA, the noise is genuinely audible even with headphones on at this point.
Edit: uploading a small audio sample (should appear when processed) if anyone can validate I'm not completely losing my marbles
The plot thickens!!Off to a good start, DPD just emailed to say there’s a delay and they’ll try and get the parcel back on track.
