Anyone into Gundam (or Gunpla)

What a pile!

If there are any RG or MG kits you guys know you wont build and want to pass on .......
You need to bully/persuade him into letting you have the RG Sazabi, it's stunning kit.

My wall of shame (i have a few more to ship over but waiting until Jan as know my luck they'll go awol over Christmas when no one is in the office to sign for them):

@Musty Pie Where the normal stickers or the water slide type? How did you apply them, I think that's the part I fear having to do the most.

For the kit, I'll have a look when I get back but I think what Beelzebub has put is probably the best you'll get. The RX-93 Hi Nu Gundam is pretty cool if that tickles your pickle and want an alternative.

They were a mix of normal stickers and metallic stickers.

Not quite settled on the best approach to them yet tweezers works but I've noticed now marks the metallic stickers if you're a bit too heavy-handed.

The edge of a very thin craft knife to peel the stickers and apply seems to work well.

I've also read about using toothpicks as stickers tend not to stick to those too much.

I emailed them yesterday, they have told me they dont stock it, but do have an alternative: https://japan-cool.uk/1-100-mg-rx-93v2-hi-nu-gundam-ver-ka/ - but i had my heart set on the RG version.

I've also ordered a RG God Gundam, wont come until Just before christmas, but that one looks like a fun build.

Is there a way to tell what kits have water slides? and also has anyone got experience with doing any? I'm keen to find a good kit to test out doing them!

This is the best site I've found where you can see what comes in the boxes and how each one really looks.

I was going to suggest the God Gundam as loads of people say great things about it.

This is potentially no use to you at all but I know they have the RG RX-93 in stock in Hamley's. They don't show it on the site but they had a bunch of them in-store today. It was on the pricier side though, I think it was around £60....

For the one they suggested as an alternative, I think that's considered to be one of the best RG kits you can get alongside the God Gundam.

The Sazabi is also a really highly regarded RG kit, plus it's a bigger kit once built as well.

Ah I don't have a Hanley's near me, but that's good to know.

Yeah the alternative kit does look great so might take a punt on it after Christmas.

Should be getting the following for Christmas so there is no rush:

HG Barbatos
HG Virtue
RG Strike Freedom Gundam
RG God Gundam

Checked online and they had it showing in stock.

Managed to order it for £45 inc shipping after a 10% discount on a web order!!! Just hope it turns up and its the right kit!

Thanks!
