Your bad driving encounters/irritations

I went looking for some reviews, sadly no one posted what messages they use. :(

How about "If I wanted someone that close up my arse, I would go get my prostate checked!!!"

I've ordered one from a company called HardTuned. Comes with a phone app can do more complex items than just plain text

Although my main aim is gonna be

"<<<<< MOVE OVER <<<<< RUNT" on a left scroll loop

A 'go to specsavers' message would fall on deaf ears I guess, 'buy an inline 6 next time' for the occasional bmw driver. ...
emojis would be the real wind up, though

Saw a car that had somehow ended up vertically (as in literally standing up on end seemingly unsupported!) on the verge on a corner which had flooded - couldn't see much in the dark but guessing they hit the deep standing water and somehow ended up like that. (Police had already attended).

Had a very very close call this morning. I was on the way into Elgin and at the top of Elgin coming into town from the south is a biggish roundabout, nothing special, just a typical large roundabout with four exits/entrances but there have been many "incidents" on it so I always cross it with due diligence. Each entrance to the roundabout has two lanes, one for turning left or going straight across and one for turning right. I was coming from the south entrance to go straight across to the north exit. To my right there was a car going around the roundabout to the third exit (east). I noticed two cars waiting to come out of the west entrance to the roundabout, the first was a silver Corsa driven by a old man with I presume his wife in the passenger seat. Myself and the car next to me entered the roundabout more or less at the same time and just as I was almost past the west exit the old duffer in the Corsa shot out. I was right on top of him so just stood on the brakes. The roundabout was greasy as hell so my car slid to a stop and the tool behind me nearly hit me from behind and had the cheek to blow his horn at me!! I couldn't have missed T-boning the Corsa by more than a few inches. Meanwhile the old duffer continued on his way badly cutting up the car on my outside who was heading for the third exit and sped off. The thing is I knew he was going to be a knob but what I didn't expect was for him to do it so late, I was right on top of him so why pull out? I have it on dashcam but due to the angle I don't reckon it will have caught his number plate, it will have caught his face because we made eye contact just before I thought I was going to hit him and he looked like the proverbial rabbit caught in a headlight. Some people really shouldn't be driving!!

Post the footage!

This makes some sobering reading

I know it can be tough if you rely on your car but I hope I have the good graces to give up driving if age is having a significant impact on my ability to drive.

Fortunately so far I've managed to avoid a collision when 90 year olds have come at me wrong way on dual-carriageways, but in both instances any other day there was a very high chance of ending in a fatal accident.

Saw a double whammy this morning :D

1: Typical impatient AUDI driver - Even though the learner was indicating to go into lane 1 anyway
2: Instructor letting a learner change lanes on zigzags

What are they like :p

The AUDI driver shortly after ran a red light too lol because obviously he had to be somewhere important.

No problem with changing lanes over zig zags when traffic is moving AFAIK. Only becomes an issue if they were trying to overtake the lead car coming up to it.

FFS, I know we have a laugh about German cars not having indicators, but in all of the clip not one signal from the learner ?

It's hard to make out but it does look like they are indicating right at the start of the clip just before the Audi decides to cut them off.

Edit: mrk mentions it as well

lot of cars with indistinct indicators especially on the front in daylight - need to see the prequel scenes but seems like multiple cars tailgating Learner, for a few mph more.

Cut up on bike by a male in in a i-pace turned into my side road and indicated simultaneously (how do these glance systems work in , albeit newer cars)
women in quashki pulled out of school;
not sure how good sound insulation is, maybe noise cancellation filters my swear words.

Oh yes learner was indicating left but then was left confused when mr audi went all out

Been a day of suicidal pedestrians for me today running out in front of my vehicle. Worst being an OAP who just crossed at a junction, not once looking in any direction to check for traffic.

It is a good habit to get into to not unnecessarily change lanes when approaching lights (one I learnt from experience) - otherwise a risk for example they start to change when you are checking your mirrors to change lanes and then you miss or are delayed noticing the lights change.

Was it even the learner driving - I've seen some terrible standards of driving from learner cars with single occupant - not necessarily the instructor driving mind you if family, etc. have use of the car.
