fwiw my 7800x3d arrived last week...now being used in my secondary (bedroom) pc for watching youtube :cry:
cost me £168 in total
i couldn't justify another £110 for the bump up to a 9800x3d :/

I was close picked up the old CPU and it fell, Hit the edge of the CPU mount, had to open another beer to calm down!

Straight on to the spirits eh, ma man!

I once built a mates PC while we were both drinking, spent about 20 minutes looking through a PSU box over and over again looking for a cable we had already plugged in, robbing ***** never put the cables in etc etc etc, we did have enough sense left in us to stop after that though.

Yeah I stepped away from the beer and the PC last night. Tinkering again this afternoon though now I've got a levelled head on.
