In all my 45 years of life, I can't remember a November this warm or a year as warm as we've had?

Warmest bonfire night on record its beaten the previous record set in 1938 and i'll be very surprised if it doesn't break the yearly record

I recently had a Hive thermostat installed and it's been so warm in my converted loft the last few nights I keep thinking the thermostat has been firing the boiler up! Have had to open the skylights to get some cooler air in. It's November; it's meant to start getting colder now! I've been to Bonfire Night events years ago and had to be wrapped up warm. Now if I go out I can't wear my normal go to coat and have to put a thinner one on.

I've had my heating on since 30th August.
I live in Somerset so not exactly a cold part of the country.

Normally heating comes on at the end of Sept.

I was wearing my winter jacket in June.

It's been very mild, it's strange always around fireworks I could definitely feel the cold never known it this mild

Major downside to the mild heat/rain/occasional sun is that I've got to mow the lawn again... I usually like my November to February break from doing anything related to the ******* garden.

I'm loving this mild weather at the moment, let's keep it this way. Very little need for heating and a summer jacket will do outside.

Still in shorts and no t-shirt indoors even with the window open . I'm not at all hairy although I do have a good layer of blubber

Took my t-shirt off to put it in wash as is covered in sweat after only a few hours, and noticed I didnt need to put a new one on as its that warm.

My home is average 20-22C unheated in the past 2 weeks in November.

So winter is down to basically maybe 3 months a year now, Dec, Jan, Feb? As Weather will turn back to warm air probably in late March. Warm air mass 9 months a year, cold air mass 3 months a year.

Also still too warm to sleep under duvet.

Oh yeah I have no doubt when it does turn we will get some periods of extreme cold, thats becoming normalised as well.

Its 16C outside and 20C here with no heating on, its warmer than it was last April.

My region has apparently been in official drought status for months, it only came out of it about a week or two ago.

Temperatures remain very high for this time of year.
