The tanks are good but their protein skimmer and lights are not the best generally TMC are better at making tanks than ancillary equipment. I personally prefer Deltec protein skimmer and Ecotec Radion or GHL Mitras for lights but these are more on the premium end of the scale so more expensive but you are buying into their ecosystem.I'm looking to upgrade my 56l.
After a bigger tank with a cabinet and a sump.
I've got my eye on the TMC Reef Habitat 90.
Does anyone have, or had, a TMC tank before, could use some feedback.
Really pleased with the tank at the moment, all new fish doing well!

Their sump/weir and return pump arrangement are logical and sure beats making a custom sump like I did for my tank( was a pain in the backside) and on the 90 its quite spacious too. Just make sure you do not spill water when cleaning or changing water, as the laminated wood can get damaged, but I believe they have waterproof bottom, apart from that they are decent tank. The RO reservoir is quite decent sized on 90 just need to decide if you want to buy automatic RO topup system which is either float or sensor based. I did not trust either so had a controller as backup because I had one get jammed once and dump large amount of RO water into my system.
Idea didn't last long, ended up buying a Fluval Rio 240 as it looks smart, and in middle ground for size of tanks.Been gifted a small tank, around 200 litres so going to grab an fx4 filter heater etc and get it filled up.
It'll give me an excuse to drive a couple of hours to pier aquatics to see what they've got in. Will get a 4*2*2 later in the year which is why I'll get the bigger filter. Probs look at an unusual pleco, birchir if I can source one of an alright size and either a sneakhead or cichlid as centre piece. Always had oscars so might try something else. Research time for the next few weeks
