Looking to buy good Display Port cable.
80Gbps 3850 x 2160 @165Hz

Using with AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT and Alienware 27" 4K Dual-Resolution Gaming Monitor - AW2725QF

Searches bring up brands I'm not familiar with

UGreen
Sniokco
Silkland
Club3D
Stouchi
LDLrui

Any of these better for DP cables ? (or ones to avoid)

I have got a couple of UGREEN things and a silkland USB extension cable. The only other make I’ve heard of is club3D.

you happy with uGreen and Silkland ... never bought either of those makes.
Previoulsy been whatever came with monitor or an 'amazon basics', having built new PC & just ordered a new monitor makes sense to have a decent cabel

Yeah both have been excellent.

I'd expect a monitor to come with at least 1.it will be fine and I'd only replace it if it wasn't long enough.

I tend to use Kenable for all my cable needs. UK firm, never had a bad one.

I just bought a Kenable 2M braided DP 8K 120Hz/4K 240Hz, for around £8 posted on their store on a certain auction site. Can't go wrong.
Also used them for HDMI 2.1 cables in the past.
They're all 'certified' cables, and seem to work perfectly :)

I've used Kenable & UGreen . I believe Silkland were one of the first 80gbps cables on the certified list. I was going to buy one for my 240Hz 4K monitor but because it uses DSC any decent cable has worked.

I'd normally use Kenable too, but I needed a 20Gbps USB 3.2 Gen2x2 extension cable and they didn't seem to have any. So had to use the rainforest.
