Morning guys, after your advice about upgrades or changes the cooling in my setup

Currently:

3 x Aerocool Mirage 12 Pro RGB 120mm fans on the front,
Aerocool Mirage L240 CPU Cooler with 2 x Aerocool Mirage 12 Pro RGB 120mm fans
1 x Aerocool Frost 12 PWM FRGB LED 120mm fan on the rear

Very Aerocool focussed as at the time when building, they were cheap and cheerful to put money else where but know they're not the best performing or lookers compared to others and they dont seem very customisable

Option to suggestions and recommendations

"they don't seem very customisable" - what kind of customisation are you looking for, what is it you want to achieve, what case have you got, what is your budget?

If you are looking to improve cooling it is very useful to have one of those cheap digital thermometers with an external probe so you can see whether any changes to your setup are making a noticeable difference.

I’ve got a Corsair 4000D case

I installed the ASU’s software for my motherboard but the colours don’t seem to update fully or accurately

Just know that the airflow from the fans isn’t the greatest either

The software won't know if you don't have the fans all orientated the same way which sounds like it's part of the problem does it have settings where you can go through each fan and specify where the top is located? That's the only way you'll get them to synchronise unless you manually turn them so they are in the same position.

If you want to replace your fans and have the budget Corsair RS120 ARGB would be a good choice. If you got the RGB version of your case then you'll have an ICUE controller which you can then use with Corsairs ICUE software which will be better than your motherboards software otherwise you can buy the controller separately.

I mean, what are your goals here? How much money to do you want to spend, because you can spend a lot on fans? Do you want the ultimate in RGB fans?

Put your PC specs here too.

The new Phanteks M25V2 seems to get good reviews, but not sure if additional hardware is needed to control them. Arctic P12 ARGB are good performers and decent ARGB.

Can you confirm which model these fans are?

RGB fans won't update the colours, from what I can see on Aerocool's website, that applies to the Frost fan.

ARGB fans can and Aerocool's spec says the Mirage 12 fans are compatible with Asus boards.

The cooler: I think that supports ARGB, depending on the model number.
