Arc Raiders

Sat down at my in laws for Xmas dinner tonight and we done the traditional cracker pull. The little gifts within fell out and when I see mine I immediately thought I need to find an extraction point.... Think I maybe a little obsessed :p

I decided to try to kill my 1st leaper today,. solo.
probably should have been better prepped as no decent grenades.
I totally messed it up but ran out of ammo . tried to finish it off with my crowbar, that didn't go well. ended up brave sir robining with about 20% health, no shield and no ammo.
oh well something for another day!

Use snap blast grenades and lots of heavy ammo (ferro/ anvil). Preferably shoot from a window where it can't get in..
 
This game reminds of Neocron so much. It's a social experiment disguised as a PvP/PvE game. You can either play all-out murderer or just help out other players and deal justice if needed. I think I've had more conversations with strangers than all the online games I've played combined.

Thats one of the stand out things I noticed about the game. I can play hundreds of hours on other online shooters without anyone saying anything, even in so-called socially inclined MMOs I'd be phenomenally lucky to have a stranger say anything other than Hi, thx and cya. Arc Raiders has had more talking and conversations than anything else I've played for many years.

Yeah it's bad. Their incessant need to turn every single encounter in to a massive drama fest for the clout is desperate and tragic. A few of them are good, but most of them are just attention seeking idiots trying to turn their insatiable appetite for attention in to a revenue stream, and it shows.
