This Instant And Moment - 2026!

I love summer! Woke up at 8am on a Sunday to the sound of my next door neighbour strimming their lawn. Now 11.30 and shes still strimming and mowing. Must be going over the same spot multiple times as it takes me an hour max for the same sized garden. I don't know if people are just oblivious to the fact others want to lie in on a Sunday, or just blatantly don't care and start making noise as soon as its legally allowed.

Probably started early to miss the heat. Not sure why it'd take that long though.

Couple of years back one of our neighbours started mowing at half 4. He has not repeated that mistake.

Maybe her bush needed a LOT of trimming for summer.

To be fair that is antisocial and I'm surprised they even considered it.

8am is absolutely fair though especially in the summer when it's light at 5am.

I would leave it until half past nine though. It only takes an hour.

Had our evening meal here. Beats a restaurant in my opinion!
Been a beautiful 26ish degrees here.

A day kayaking, boarding and watching the sunset

Its 2230 and it's still shorts and tshirt weather. Amazing!

Argh shes mowing again. Who mows two days in a row... I'd close the windows, but its already boiling in my room. I love summer.
I don't mind the mowing so much but we seem to have hit power wash season here.

All of my neighbours seem to love it and wash their cars, drives, houses, bins and anything else you can fire a power washer at all day long.

I think they have competition going to see who can power wash the most things but I've not been invited to join.

I just get to sit and listen to it from the window of my home office...all...[swear word]...day...long. :(

I was offered some sticky date pudding, which I refused thinking it was an asian dish. Turns out it isn't asian at all.
