Do you insult your mates?

Yea i do it all the time, the amount of people that me and my two best mates confuse when we are just shouting highly elaborate abuse at each other is astounding, we have to moderate some of it when we are with others who don't know that we are messing about as some of it is of highly dubious taste.

all the time.

Just the other day my gf was asking me why I'm so horrible to my best friend. I looked at her like she was mad, told her I wasn't, picked up my phone, called him and then said

'Hi, just phoning to say <insert about 2 minutes of abuse>, bye then' and hung up.

I and chums always rip the **** out of each other. Infact it has got to a point where racist slurs have been used. No ever takes offence though because we are all good mates, no matter how many times you we have been called white'e/******/midnight. If anyone takes offence to that, say and i will star it out.

I have banter with my mates, one in particular who is half Moroccan and looks a little arabic so I call him a filthy Arab and accuse him of smoking his black gold in his crack pipe in the back of his limo. He in return calls me a cracker amongst other things. I also accuse a black friend of stealing car stereos and generally doing all the media black guy stuff. :P I think it's important to have banter, makes for some very funny times and yes everyone is fine with it. :D

I might call my mates up now and give them an earfull. Just for a laugh, like :D

All the time, wouldn't be the same if we didn't slate each other at every available opportunity.

can't beat a bit of the banter.

me any my mates call each other well.. it begins with t and rhymes with hats, all the time.

cant beat it when the banter is flowing, makes for awesome comedy, we never really make it too personal though to pick on a particular feature of someone.

Only pick on one friends features and thats coz he has size 13 feet and his fingers are all the same size as standard Twix bars. Hence we make fun every now and then but we end up getting something in return so all is good :D

Same. It's friendly banter.
^^

It's the English way I think. I am forever taking the urine out of my mate, and vice versa.

Nothing is ment by it. I know my mates (and vice-versa) well enough to know when we're just larking about and when we are deadly serious.

It's a sign of friendship IMO.

Like when black people say "whut up, ma *****?" to another black person. Nothing harsh is ment by it.
