An investigation is being launched over claims that police corruption helped shield the killers of black teenager Stephen Lawrence from conviction.
I dont know if you guys was aware of the racist killing of a south London black teenager, anyway there is a new evidence the bbc belive it all part of a cover that never lead to the solving of the case.
Iirc, this murder investigation was what lead to the public enquiry that found the police being guilty of "institutional racism". Anyway i thought i share this with you guys. The programme is on tonight on bbc Newsnight.
A former corrupt police officer-turned whistle blower also gave some info to bbc as part of the new evidence. Perhaps after 13years the case will be finally solved.
RIP Lawrence.
