Willy waving competition!

its funny youve done this as nearer xmas i was going to spend some time going through all my games and listing them.

I know this will sound really sad but ive decided to collect games, i want to collect as many as possible dating back from as early as possible, not just the games, but the old boxes and instruction manuals. Anything game related.

There will be a little twist and some begging involved but i will leave that until later on :D

I mainly play RPG's and some shooters, (UT series and CS) and collect Forgotten Realms setting and Black Isle produced games specifically as well as being a huge Diablo fan. I hunted down mint complete original releases of all those from Baldur's to Neverwinter and everything inbetween. I then found original big box releases for Diablo, Diablo: Hellfire, Diablo II and Diablo II LoD as well as the Diablo Battlechest and Diablo II Collectors.

I need to do some rearranging to make room for my new Dark Messiah and Gothic 3 Collectors, but really need a new case that is bigger. I have all these installed and have no-cd patches on most so that I can play pretty much anything without having to get my lazy butt up. I currently am playing Dark Messiah, NWN2, CS: Source, Dungeon Master 2 and good old constant Diablo 2 mixed in there :D .

(Sorry if the image is to big, I haven't yet reinstalled PS and couldn't get screenshot tags to work, mods please delete if it breaks any rules)

Hehe, absolutely! Bioware is probably my favorite currently. Was a HUGE Black Isle fan, still think they were arguably THE best of all time at their peak. Plus these games came with great artwork, HUGE often bound manuals, quick reference cards, fully emblazoned CD cases and other extras. Sure, you didn't use that stuff, but when the box has some real weight to it, you feel like you actually got something for your money. :D Another reason why I wanted the original releases instead of a "greatest hits" or whatever. Regarding great gaming, you could argue for the old school Sierra (pre Windows) and a few others, of course Blizzard had to be up there as well. Bioware has released some stellar titles and makes great efforts to try and follow what their fans want.

not too many but....

sim city 4
GTA:SA
HL
HL2
battlefield 1942
BF NAM
BF2
FIA GTR Racing
MOH Warchest
Tiger Woods 2004

I see you also have Arcanum in there. I absolutely loved that game, despite its annoying bugs. Must dig it out sometime.

As for large collections, the chap interviewed here wins hands down

I used to have dues ex on my PS2 but I dont have a ps2 now.
That doesnt count as Deus Ex. ;)

lol.
If this all you lot have? i was expected loads. I havnt bought any games in ages, but i have far more than most of you lot, which is unexpected!?
I have about 60 in DVD style boxes, 20 in the old style, 10 or so in special edition cases, and around 80-90 in just CD cases.

I've got three. PES6, Marvel Ultimate Alliance and FEAR XP. I finished FEAR XP a few days ago and will trade it for another at the weekend. I don't see any point in keeping games that can be finished and have minimal replay value.
