The police should have hit her harder, maybe that will stop her doing it again and set an example to others to discourage anti-social thuggery. She should be shamed of her behaviour over the night, not looking for the sympathy vote.

Yeah, how the hell is that racist? Or am I missing something? The colour and gender of both parties is irrelevant. And I'm backing the officer on this one.

Let the police do there job. They can't always be nicey nice otherwise they would have even less respect than they have now.
I do agree however that the race card is being played here.

Somone should have got a swift boot in too :/

Bound to play the race card, how long before they start linking it to Rodney King?

Clearly a case of someone trying to milk the system - fortunately there should be forensic proof in the form of bruising on the girls arm as opposed to her head... yawn...

Cops have a hard enough job as it is without some little drunken brat wasting taxpayers money on starting an investigation into something so trivial.

Already been done, about an hour and a half ago on the radio (it was Talk Sport or 5 Live, I can't remember which). They were interviewing some race relations guy, and he bought up the Rodney King scenario.

Does anyone care if she is black? The fact is that anyone bringing this pap up is that they are just getting air time - I wish the media wouldn't pander to this rubbish.

While it sounds like the woman is trying to pull a fast one by claiming police brutality, it does sound very unprofessional the way officer conducted himself. I thought they were trained how to restrain people, not just to punch them until they give in? Where was his spray, or why didn't het get her arm behind her back?

This is getting pathetic, we are going to get to the point where all the police can do is ask you nicely to stop whatever it is you are doing! (not far away now IMO)
Regardless of her gender or race if she is assaulting a police officer she should be restrained with whatever force necesary. I don't agree with hitting women, but if she was kicking and squeesing my crown jewels I would give her one in the chops as well!

Apparently she is epileptic as well, so what the hell she was doing drunk in a nightclub in the first place is anyones guess.

Punch her more and harder, then deport her.

Heard about this on the news. Had they said 'Policeman caught puching woman' I would have listened, but they didnt. As usual they played the racism card.

She's not even black, just has a chavvy name :p

"As her hands became free she tried to grab handfuls of my genitals and knee and kick me in the same place.

"At this point, I struck her as hard as I was physically able with my right fist in an attempt to subdue her. There was no apparent effect so I did this twice more."

Should have hit her harder imo. If she is struggling to resist arrest and actually attacking the police officer then she should expect force to come her way. On BBC Breakfast they said her arm was being hit which I imagine would be to try to force her into handcuffs.

Its not actually her playing the race card, its a "local race relations manager". No doubt their role is to aid integration within the community, this is totally the opposite.
