Not really hearing trying to insure a Grp17 car with many modifications at 20.

330bhp in a fwd would be....interesting.![]()
well it manages 5.1 to sixty on street tyres.....can't be that bad?
What in a straight line with probably clutchless gear changes and perfect conditions. Now try that with a little grease on the road or a whiff of standing water.
Set off then plant the throttle is fairly easy, however come to some twisty roads and or tight corners and how much power could it waste?
tell him to bluefin it asap, makes all the diffrence, went round the ring in one on sunday, was great and plenty of powerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. il try make it smaller then host it if you want.
But remember the throttle isn't an on and off switch, regardless of how much power you have you can only use the maximum grip available which would be the same should the car be standard (power wise) or not.
The mapped car will just be quicker up to and out of the corner.
If you do get the bluefin, make sure you get the uprated IC and atleast a cat back system, otherwise the gains arent all that.
Good choice on the colour too![]()

I must say im impressed with how the get the power down, but you can feel the computers are working overtime to keep it in check, which gets bloody annoying after a while.Launch control can be fun, but without ESP it can be a bit hairy, it oversteers a touch as the engine is so big upfront, its not as nimble as the Golf, but my god that engine sounds lovely at full chat.
Once the tyres wear a bit, then the car goes into nanny state mode.My cars got 33k on it and its nice and loose now, be prepared for some horrific tyre and fuel bills

Performance Blue
Picking it up on Sunday
