Oh Dear

Looks very nice indeed, another example I feel of a car being given a bad name because of its badge. Im sure 125bhp out of such a small car will prove to be quite fun. I hope you enjoy it :)

My sister picked one of these up at the weekend (ex-demo).. My brother in law gave me a quick drive in it and it feels really slow - it appears to have absolutely no mid-range power what so ever! Plus it's only 6 months old and has more rattles than the wifes 6 year old Civic :(

Did you not think to consider the C2 VTS as well?

Same BHP and similar styling. I have a C2, 1.4 model and i love it. Excellent handling, lots of toys and looks really nice. My pick of all the hot hatch' cars i drove. The new Swift does look very nice. :)

Similar styling? The C2 is vile looking in comparison to damn near all hatchbacks bar the C3. The handling is certainly not excellent, especially when comparing to its baby brother the saxo, I found the C2 to have no driver involvement at all, and was far too willing to understeer you into a ditch.

Also, since when was a C2 1.4 a "hot hatch" :/

Eh, matter of personal preference. I know I don't like it, but there are people out there who claim to.

I've heard that as well.

Does the C2 actually have any point, by the way? There's the C1, for people wanting a city car. The C3, for people wanting a small hatch. Does there really need to be another step up the Citroen car ladder inbetween those two?

The C2 came first though, so "technically" there is no point to the C1.

Nice choice, these cars are so much fun to drive, more so than the mini cooper :)

:o I've drove a MINI Cooper and it handled fantastic. I somehow how doubt a Suzuki Swift will be better? Anyone drove both?

It looks quite nice but it'll always be MINI > Swift, no contest. Performance, build quality, looks, handling and so forth although price on the other hand :p However, the MINI will hold it's value a lot better than a Swift.

BeatMaster :D
