Right some of you may know that Warhawk is now available on the US PSN store. Took me about 20 mins to download, so either the servers are doing well or most of the Americans are still in bed. Its just a shade under 800Mb download so no that big. Just playing off line multiplayer to get the hang of things first of all. It all good :D

Seems like I can only access game from my US account though, so it may be a problem for those wanting to share content

Bah, I've given up on trying to get it from the US store. My mastercard which previously worked isn't being taken, guess I'll try Entropay later.

Git! i need to wait till lunchtime before i can d/l it as i forgot to switch on remote play before i left the house!!

I hope that i could answer some Q+A's about the US version here more than anything else, so far Ive found out that its locked to my US account, so sharing it with others may only work if they keep using your ID. Still its only 2 days before the PAL release, I still may get the UK one, this money has been in my US account for over a month burning a hole in my PSN wallet.

Yeah the game is tied to your PSN this time, to stop people buying and sharing the download, which imo is fair enough, though it would be nice if it let your other accounts play it on you PS3.

I have my fifty dolla waiting for it, will see you in the sky tonight ;)

$50? I thought it was £20? I was gonna go buy it there. You've saved me from myself.... which, considering my monetary situation is a good thing. Rush of blood to the head and all that...

Im sure this has been answered already. buttttttttt....

In terms of server access if I buy the US version today, I assume ill have access to all servers eg UK? (when the UK goes live I guess)

Is there any other reason to wait for the UK version?

2 reasons stopping me getting it so far.

1) I would have to stay signed in with my secondary account whilst playing this game. Apart from the fact it is a different username, I would have to add all the friends again who I want to play Warhawk with (who are already on my main UK id).

2) From what I understand there is a "My region" server search which basically finds you local servers out of thousands available. This defaults to finding you USA servers if you have the USA version. Again, minor annoyance, but you then would presumably (can anyone confirm?) have to manually search for your real home servers i.e. EU/UK (when they go live).

Thats a royal pain in the ass, well I guess as I have training tonight and GRAW2/Bioshock to play 360 style, ill wait for the UK release and just not worry about it unless the server situation is confirmed!!

*Just needs to be flying the warhawk ASAP*

Still having no joy with Entropay working with PSN, I'll just wait until Thursday :(

Anyone any idea what I should do with £20 stuck on an Entropay Virtual Credit Card?

I tried the entropay thing but couldn't get it to work either, which is strange as it's worked before - I guess Sony have tightened their trans-atlantic security hole a little.

Ah well, Thursday isn't too long to wait.

Just to cheer you up I have had a nightmare with Entropay, kept trying on the US account, finally admitted defeat and decided to stick the money on my UK account for Thursday. Guess what nope doesn't work either :( so I contact Entropay this morning and they finally got back to me and told me out of £25 I now have £11 on my card, so I can only assume every time I tried it on the PSN Sony take a small amount to verify the card? OK fair enough but also Entropay said it could take up to 30 days to verify the card.

Basically I am stuck with a card with £11 on it, and may have to wait 30 days to have it verified and get the rest of my money back before I can use it

I've told Entropay to get my money back and back into my bank account. This whole fiasco has cost my (hopefully no more) £4.14 to basically gain absolutely nothing.

I have a feeling i'm in the same boat :(

please could you let us have a mini review of the game , i'm still in two minds whether to get online version or retail version

Played it this morning, but only offline against my nephew, just playing about with it really. Its seems like a lot of fun, the Warhawk motion controls are great, best ive used on the PS3 so far. The advantage of using motion controls with the warhawk is that you can move youre cursor about independantly. Best to switch off Motion control in land vehicles as it doesnt seem to be as good as using the sticks, at present there is no option to select independent controls for air and land. Dogfighting with the warhawks is great doesnt seem at the moment that there is an easy one shot kill A to A weapon. The normal grenade seems pretty powerful though it can take out a landed plane in one hit, rather than the rocket launchers 2. Going to spend some more time offline with it just to get the hang off things, prob will get the UK version as well on thursday. The graphics are actually much better in motion than in screenshots, the water, air and landscape look very good, and the particle effects look good also. Only had an hour or so so far with it but all in all i think it will be great fun online, more so than more serious games such as the battlefield ones.
