Oooow, whats he spoilt this time?

I agree with the others on this one. I don't think you can beat an factory standard car that looks in mint condition.

Take off the stick on tat and get it looking original.

I would ask did you all have such fantastic cars when you were young?

Yes :p

Phil, the only thing I truly dislike about your car are the front angel eye headlights. They just look so tacky when fitted to car that shouldn't have them (and before you say it, a guy on Rovertech used to have a 420 Turbo with angel eyes - they looked ****)

:)

If i could find a way to get better lighting at night with the standard headlights, then id change back to the originals :)

I wanted to fit HID's, but i did that in my last set of standard headlights and often got flashed for dazzling other drivers, thats why i bought the Projectors to try and overcome that, but still getting better vision at night.

A car can never be too low

:D

Maybe with some different or bigger wheels, but it looks really silly with those, either because of their colour, or they're too small, bigger wheels and low profile tyres would look better, and I'm not the biggest fan of this car :p

Blue interior? ouch.

What wheels did you get?

Is that black strip at the bottom of the bumper standard? it looks really bad, and it over emphasizes the size of the exhaust, I think the 'zorst might actually look ok without that strip around it.

it'd look far better if you just removed that, even with just leaving the current bumper on.

Blue doorcards. It doesnt look *too* bad. Before i bought the car, the guy has Cobra bucket seats in it, so re-trimmed the doorcards in the same material. Muppet.

Its an afternarket splitter, only there to bring the rear bumper down as at side profile it looks really odd, and the exahust looks a bit more "at home" with it there and cutting around the tailpipe.

Wheels... hmm.. I'll wait to upload pics tomorrow for that ;)

I know what you mean, these wheels sit too far int eh arches, adn they are too small for the car. The 17" being delivered tomorrow will solve both those problems :)

You definitely need to get a GSi bumper sharpish then ;)

Good man, they're not black are they? :p

Function over form, fair enough :)

You coming to the MM btw? Don't let the 'Corsa meet' thread put you off meeting some of us guys. We're not going to single you out while chanting "chav, chav, chav" lol.

Hell, if anyone gets singled out at meets... it's me and my Rover!

You would have liked the Nürburgring last weekend, loads of stupidly fast Astra's the same mark as yours.

I don't know as I didn't speak to any of the owners, a LOT there though so must have been some sort of event. They were all German plated cars though.

Can you put Cav red tops in these and turbo them? If so then I guess that's what they were.

They 'redtops' are turbo'd in certain cars yes (Cavalier & Calibra).

N/A 2.0 16v = C20XE
Turbo 2.0 16v = C20LET

Much better without the lights, I’d raise it a bit as I think it’s sitting too low and change the badges for Vauxhall ones. Exterior looks in excellent condition though so props to you for taking such good care.
