OcUK Motors - gaming scene?

Stuntman Ignition is great IMO, but it is very marmite. Some people just find it frustrating.

One to wait for is the new Sega Rally game, looks like it's going to be fantastic. Everything DiRT should have been, loads of powerslidey fun

Have Forza, PGR and Burnout but rarely play them online anymore - less so my 360 gave the dreaded 3 red lights on Saturday :(

Certainly worth a purchase Id say, then head over to the console gaming sub forum.

Another vote for Forza 2 here, the only reason the disc even leaves the drive is when my mate comes round for two player sessions on Gears Of War, Forza really is grand

Forza 2 is awesome. Just got into online gaming, great fun, even if I do keep getting beat, seeing everybodys cars all stickered up and seeing how the different cars work better on different tracks is great.

DC2 fully modded just sticks to the road like ****!

Indeed they do. Mine is now 4wd with a 20/80 front/rear powersplit and around 400bhp. I have some mental cars, but that is the one I keep coming back to, it's just fantastic. Especially around the 'ring

I find on the PC, I can't live without a wheel, even though your faster with a joystick, a wheel is more fun.

On the consoles the cars are always a bit digital.

Yea, problem is when you tune em too much it takes some of the fun away, its nice in a way to push the car to the limit and get all the posible power out of its stock engine, quality game all the same :)

Does anyone else think that a 500bhp Golf GTi Mk5 handles just a bit too well?

Not much wheelspin, naff all torque steer... it's a bit too sensible!

I love my DC2, its not mega powerful, I just built it to get the most out of its class, and its so good to drive, mainly because you have to work it in the bends to get the most.

I've currently got- Colin McRae: Dirt, Forza 2 and FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage as far as racers go.

I prefer the arcade style racers for online play personally. Having said that PGR4 is out in October and I'll give that a blast online.

The 360 has just had a price cut across the board, good time to buy IMO.

Still plenty of fun to be had with the normal controller if you decide to give the wheel a miss. The analoge inputs are sensitive enough to give you a good sense of control.

For those Forza 2-ites amongst us, what driving aids do you enable? I'm particularly curious about the suggested line, as even though i've put in untold dozens of hours on this and the prequel i still struggle without it. What also of traction/stability/abs?
