This epitomizes education in Britain

Ill try and get a screenshot of my bros MSN list.

Not so much chavs but their names are worse than what are in those two screenshots.

urgh i HATE that sort of typing, shame the fact the girl I'm trying to get with types like that, it's rather depressing lol.

Although I really cannot stand that kind of text, be it on a phone, or MSN - it really made me smirk that Sam83uk posted it - as he really always popped into my mind when I think of poorly spelt / formed posts.

Oh, and it's epitomise not epitomize - Standard English, not American English!!

My MSn buddy list (or whatever you call it) looks a lot like that, thing is my email addy is gez@hotmailetc... so I think anyone with a mate called Gez just adds me on the offchance it's their mate. Sadly most of the time I get abused by people insisting I added them and am some kind of pervert.

Stopped accepting people now.

H-Town - the new gangster name for Huddersfield, where i used to live

Back then we called it HD5

Lol

Heh, the town where I spent my youth had the "gangsta" name of Browntown - due to the amount of heroin and heroin addicts. I think its now called E-Wood and the youths call themselfs "da E-Wood Massiv" acording to the spraypaint on the walls

i also hate this. U R T3H STPD RTRD MA FRND

:D

These people also seem to massively overuse emoticons. I find this incredibly infuriating. One, perhaps two, three at the outside per message but any more is just abuse.

To be honest sam, you were blatantly on faceparty to find out if you were attractive enough [ladies only].

Sorry I had to :(

The only people i've got with names like that are a few lasses, I guess they aren't even that bad but just have loads of annoying stars and shizzle in their name.

Is it just me or does it really need loads more concentration to write txt speak than it does to write 'normal' English?

This reminds me of one of my chavvy cousins, when he's on MSN, if he types a word in normal english, he goes back and corrects it to gangsta-language.

Meh, mine seems alright.

There's a few people like this on there though...

:o

LOL,

Just took a quick look at my account, realised how lucky i am, hardly any people like 'that'... I guess it helps that i keep deleting people i don't talk to:rolleyes:

I don't have a single person like that on my msn list, I believe everyone on mine can actually speak English ;).

I work hard at school and i get my time to relax and sometimes enjoy a drink round my friends houses, it may be illegal but no one has a problem if we are quiet, watch a dvd while enjoying a beer.

It's not illegal for you to drink alcohol at home dude, it's only illegal for people to serve you alcohol.

You can drink from something stupid like 5 in your own home can't you?

They might be annoying and so on but it doesn't mean they are bad people, there's more to life than perfect English.

And this is why I use MSN 7 with Messenger plus, and 99% of emoticons disabled etc. I also rename most of my contacts to something simple, as I can't keep up when everyone is constantly changing their names to something the artist formally known as prince formally known as squiggle would be proud of.

I blame parents for letting their kids get away with using text "language". Whenever I see my gf's brother using it on MSN I give him a telling off for it.

It ***** me off, if everyone just reminded them it wasn't actually English we'd have less of this crap going on.
