Hi,

My Insurance is up for renewal in the next couple of weeks and im hunting around for the best deal. So far Bell has come up the best and also offers a couple of nice extra's I wanted (drive someone elses car third party). After searching around the forums they also come pretty well recommended.

However, is anyone able to give any experience on what its like changing your car mid policy with Bell. The reason I ask is my car gets changed roughly every 6 weeks and my previous insurer (Endsleigh) take great joy at stitching me up each time I change. The additional premium I have to pay never reflects the insurance group of the car and they charge me £15 admin each time :(

I have however also been with Elephant who seemed very fair when it came to changing cars. As Elephant and Bell are both part of the Admiral group i'm hoping they treat the change of cars in a similar way, but just wanted to check with you guys before hitting the button.

Cheers
Mark

when i changed my Golf GTI to a Driver. Half way into the policy they said "ok sir all done, where would you like the £££ rebate to?"

cant complain about them at all. although i am now with elephant as they are cheap this time around :)

i'm with bell. I changed from a 1.6 escort to a vectra 1.8sri. they only charged me the the monthly installment difference if memory serves. ie:

escort £600~ for 10month insurance (£60 a month)
vectra £740~ for 10month insurance (charged me £74 for the last 3 months of insurance which was left).

Up for renewal now and i think i'm going to go with them again.
