The blurb says that "...it does not emit any noise and can be used semi-permanently".

This wording appears on the Scan Computers site also, so clearly came from the manufacturer.

What does semi-permanently mean exactly? Does it go bang after X hours of use?

I would remove the competitor name pronto.

As for the heat pipe...good airflow in the case and it shouldn't be a problem, I can't think of a heat pipe card that has stated that before...

Does "competitor name" refer to S*** C********? Hardly a secret, or an endorsement - it is relevant that the exact wording appears somewhere else as it gives sa clue to its source.

It doesn't matter if everyone knows the competitor or not, it is in the rules, so when in rome....

I don't know why it says semi-perm but it works perfectly fine like any other card, I have the HIS 2600 Pro iSilence III with the same cooler.
