OK, I don't exactly live out in the sticks, but my broadband choice is limited.
I'm currently on ADSL MAX via Nildram and I'm happy with the service.
Due to how close I am to the exchange I get as near to 8mb down as is possible and as I'm on a Pro package I get 840k up.
I could have course move to any other ADSL Max reseller, but I really don't see the point with only Zen really being "any different" from the rest.
My Exchange has an LLU presence from both AOL and Talk Talk who can offer me bundles that include up to 24Meg which I'm assuing is ADSL2.
Prices aren't too bad.
With Talk Talk for example I can have upto 24Meg, Unlimited Download (FUP), Line rental, unlimited calls to landlines (Anytime) for £26.48 per month.
AOL comes to around £20 but they list a terrible 10GB download limit.
So bottom line - would I regret a move from ADSL Max/BT to Talk Talk?
