A further spec error - I looked at the Q430 again in another purple shirt place (I've got 3 of them nearby) and even with the earlier stated errors, I was all set to buy one. I asked the sales assistant to double check the ram and hard drive for me - the Ram was correct at 4Gb but the hard drive was only 120Gb!!! I'm not sure if it was a one-off or if all their Q430's are that spec but that was enough to put me off buying one.

I'm not sure who is trying to con who here - are Samsung having a laugh at the purple shirt place or are they having a laugh at the customer??

Samsung seem to have made an error on their website too...I believe they are mixing up the spec of the Q530 and the Q430.

Lol probably 120gb 5400RPM drive, if the guy checked the gpu he would probably have found a 8600gt

What about the SONY VAIO VPCEB3L0E/BQ.CEK it has blu-ray combo drive good cpu i3-370 and 4gb mem and 500gb hard drive, I donot know how good the 5470 ATI gpu is gaming wise but it should be ok for everything else? Or even medium level gaming?
What do you think?
I saw one for £435 looks tempting?
