Hi,

Looking for a Server 2008 R2 compatible replication software, which can copy files across as soon as it detects a change.

We are using DFS at the moment but the replication just isn't working well at all.

all the ones i've seen ( Robocopy / Beyond Compare etc ) all need to be scheduled to run at certain times of the day,

Thanks,

dfsr can be memory and cpu intensive as well as needing adequately sized staging areas. if not configured correctly you'll run into trouble but as has been said, when done right it is great.

the [ms] active directory team blog (http://blogs.technet.com/b/askds/) has lots of posts about dfs; config, troublshooting etc. definitely worth a read.
