Had a apicoectomy just over a week ago on two lower front teeth and they removed a pea sized cyst - YUCK ! still pretty sore and I am now looking for a better toothbrush to stop me from having further problems

so which brush for £50 or less?

Braun Oral-B Professional Care brushes are awesome. Not the best battery life but they work well and i haven't looked back, can often pick up 50% off at supermarkets too or online. Get a mid-range one for £30-£50 and you should be set :)

Supermarkets, Oral B as said. Thin ones are nicer in your hand than fat ones, especially with the weight of it being shoved around your mouth.

I like the full heads, with the in-between-the-gum-bit.

But to be fair, its less the toothbrush you use and just how often you are brushing.

Don't think an electric toothbrush means you have to make less effort, go at it like a normal brush. Cut out sugar and stop smoking if you do and increase how often you brush, after every meal too even at work. It will have a bigger impact than electric toothbrush, but an electric toothbrush would be a benefit with all that obviously.

Hope you've got a shaving point in the bathroom! :p

Oral B triumph 5000, get it half price at £80 or less
Else go for the 3000, both great brushes.

hmm on checking oral b website, seems they have been playing funny buggers with the names and numbers
anyway superdrug boots or your dentists probably have these things at half price
never pay full price

Not sure if srs.

Just brush your teeth in the morning and evening, and floss regularly. Mouthwash won't hurt. There is no need to brush after every meal rofl.

If you've got to the point where you're losing teeth? It can't hurt can it? After every meal, depending on what it is of course, isn't a bad idea.

if you dare to watch.

was something like that didn't hurt at the time but felt like I had been kicked in the face by a horse in the morning. 12 days later I have just stopped taking the painkillers and now have random pins & needles in face.
