alright lads

i have been out of touch with the peripherals markets for last 6 months but i believe there were rumours that intel(?) were going to make super hi res monitors soon. did this ever materialise? cant seem to find anything on the internet.

i was thinking of getting a 1600 res monitor but dont want to if these are just round the corner

I keep fairly close to the action and I've heard nothing about it but I am more than sure someone will come on after and make fool of me :)

IMO even if they WERE just round the corner I would imagine the pricing would be scandalous - I'd guess you wouldn't get much for under £1500. Having said that if money is no object then fair enough.

I just moved to 1440p in the last couple of months and it was a very nice step up - one I can see lasting for at least a couple of years.
