Built this a couple of months back after coming into a little bit of money from the bank
. While it's not the most modded, powerful or extravagant build seen in these forums, I always put a lot of effort into component choice and the actual build to make sure that I have a PC that will last me at least three or 4 years. Sad to say I had to retire my old Lian Li PC6070 case as some of the latest hardware just runs too hot for a small case with 80mm fans.
Really pleased with the final result of the build and the red/black styling that I managed to pull off thanks to ASUS own component styling and the aftermarket stuff available from Corsair.
Spec is Lian Li B10 case, ASUS Maximus V Formula, Intel Core i5 3570K @4.2 Ghz, 16GB Corsair Dominator GT 2133 Mhz, ASUS GTX 670 4GB, OCZ Vertex 4 256GB SSD, Corsair H80 Cooler and replaced all the stock fans with the Corsair 120mm and 140mm fans. Also spent a little extra to get the red braided cables for the AX750 PSU.
The old PC 6070 that's going into retirement. This was wet sanded and hand polished to take off the brush effect on the aluminium. The Coolermaster S4000 in the pic was bought for a watercooling project many moons ago and is still sat in the attic in its box!
