Hi all,
I have an Acer 5733 laptop which is causing me some problems. Upon booting for the first time (from being powered off) I get fans whirring and the acer splash screen, then it hangs on a non-blinking cursor and won't post. If I go into the bios, then exit saving changes, it boots no problem. I've run startup repair which found no issues, checked for bad sectors on the hard drive and also removed the battery, held the power button for a while etc. in the fix for some laptops I've seen as a solution to similar problems.
Does anyone have any other suggestions please?
