Asus PB278Q 27" - Can somebody give me some input

Hi, Just want to get a new monitor really. I'm currently using Samsung 2032BW 1680x1050.

I am thinking of getting this:

Can somebody give me some input please, do you recommend it? Any cheaper alternatives? Really interested in the 1440p, even though I know my GFX card won't be good enough. But would be nice for general desktop use, I hope? Would gaming at 1080p look weird, if that helps me GFX card?

Today only the AOC 1440p option is only £319. It shares the same panel as the asus monitor and is a great 1440p option at a good price point.

At that price the AOC is an absolute bargain.
I own one and can whole heartedly recommend it.

i have PB278Q and its absolute beast monitor , perfect for games , looks great . highly recommending !
