Over the last few months i have been gradually replacing the parts of my build and I'm now starting to think about how I finish it all off.

Parts I'm looking to replace:
Intel Core i7 920 D0 Stepping (SLBEJ) 2.66Ghz (Nehalem) (Socket LGA1366)
Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme CPU Cooler (Socket LGA1366/LGA775)
Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5 Intel X58 (Socket 1366) PCI-Express DDR3 Motherboard
Be Quiet! Dark Power Pro 650W ATX2.2 Modular SLi Compliant Power Supply
CORSAIR CMX12GX3M3A1600C9 12GB (3 x 4GB) (one stick failed so down to 8GB)

Rest of the spec that i have added/keeping:
Asus GeForce GTX 780 Direct CU II OC 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
Coolermaster Storm Scout 2 Advanced Gaming Case
Samsung 840 Series Pro 256GB SSD
Samsung 840 EVO 250GB SSD
Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi Xtreme Gamer Edition.

I'm looking to spend up to £600-650 on the rest of the build, i'm very much thinking of going for an i7-4770k.

What are peoples thoughts?

Does that RAM sit under that cooler ?.....and to be honest .,. not even sure I would buy that RAM....why not just wait until new motherboards arrive before buying any hardware

New motherboards will take DDR3, and that RAM should fit under that cooler as Dominator Pro does
(Should :D )
