Hello

I am running two 280x in crossfire and dupicate displays so friends can watch on another monitor

but when i launch the game, the second screen completely cuts out? How can i stop this?

it wont work when gaming the second monitor always goes black,
multi monitor / AMD eye infinity only works with 3 monitors or more and even then it will display the image over all three monitors not duplicate the image (as far as im aware)

just done a quick google and cable across this

not too sure if this will help but also found this post

I had no issues with my second monitor at home staying on while gaming as I had my hardware monitor software running on it but then I do have a old card (Radeon HD 5830)

I know one is a Nvidia card but it states it was down to the Areo Theme on windows 7 so may be worth trying

Mine only happens in bf4 if I recall correctly, alt tabbing back to desk top then back to game would sort the issue. Have you got crossfire enabled and both monitors plugged into the same gpu?

I've usually found you can't really dual screen effectively, the best way for them to watch is for you to use a streaming service, like Open Broadcaster Software with Hitbox as the stream.

This way they can watch via their own devices or, if you have a smart TV, load up the web browser and watch the stream on there, even using your console (If you have one) with their inbuilt browsers.
