Hey pals,

my Gigabyte gap67aud3p mobo died last night. I'm not totally sure why but there you go.

My 2500k and ram (and everything else) seem fine and I'm ordering a new mobo, cpu and cooler today to make a new main rig, since it was time for that anyway.

MSI Krait, 4690k - the sensible option for a reasonable but not excessive oc and gaming?

Never tried AMD in years - am I missing out? Suggestions please!

dont bother with AMD, they have nothing new with cpus for awhile and stick to Intel.

what will the PC be used for? gaming? video editing?

Yeah, a straightforward oc on air (nothing crazy) and gaming.

the 4690K should be fine then for gaming any plans for going SLI down the line as a I7 would handle this better if so
