Laptop advice for Christmas present.

Hi there, hoping someone could give me advice as to which laptop would be the best for around £500 for my nine year old daughter. She wants to play a few games such as Minecraft and sims, research for homework etc. I have been out of the scene for over 10 years and have absolutely no clue as to which would be the best for the money. Thanks for any help you can give me.

a place with a name something like epurchaser have an Asus X556UB for £479.99 with this spec:

however im dubious the CPU is correctly listed and isnt the 6100u which is about 2.3GHz
