It would be a heck of a thing if AMD could come out of nowhere with ryzen releasing this week. But I suspect it won't be that, likely we'll see the ryzen line up and maybe pricing, but prob not going to be on shelves till maybe Feb.

Kaby is meant to be coming 5th if the rumours are to be believed.

100% this is Kaby... can't be anything else this early. If it were Ryzen, we'd have seen more concrete leaks by now.

According to some users on the harwareluxx.de forums LG643G214 and LG643G218 are from a good batch hitting 4.9+ at 1.2 VCC or lower. There is probably better still to come!

A few running at 5GHz @ 1.3.

Also news of delidded 7700k running 4.9 @ 1.375 VCC so not all are great as usual. batch number L638F814.

pretty much all intel K series chips have done 1ghz + overclock for years.
