anything above 3866Mhz requires not only the motherboard but also the IMC inside the CPU. 4133Mhz may or may not work straight out.
My 3600 kit is garbage for oc, 4266 on the way for testing.
Had a little play with the 4266 kit last night. 4360c17 32m under 1.5v no problem. Ran 4400c17 for giggles but only passed 1m. PCH voltage nudge seems to help at higher speed. I'll dial these in for 4133 tight today but overall quite impressed.
They ran stock at 1.325v (rated 1.4v) and 1t at 1.4v was no problem.
HCI mem test [email protected] easy.
Wasn't expecting great things from what I've heard about the 4266 kits but these are faultless.
That's not what you've been reporting on OCN
You should always use matched sets. This may be obvious, but can u combine 2x 16GB 4266mhz kits to make 32Gb? They don't have this option available so I wondering if there is a limitation with 32 GB at this speed.
You should always use matched sets.
