as far as the GTR goes, how are you finding running costs/reliability wise @kindai ?good result too, well done for sticking to it.
Running and reliability is, well the running is what you would expect, expensive
it drinks petrol like nobodies business when hooning it, on the motorway 35mpg at a suitable cruise. And reliability wise, nothing is letting me down. Theres a great community out there of R35 owners and whenever someone posts up a question or query you will have half a dozen people within an hour offering solutions or possible causes of problems.They broke the contract of sale, it was supposed to be supplied in X condition with X spec. They provided something in Y condition with Y spec. This last thing (the paint) was just the straw that broke the camels back, at which point I thought **** it, not gonna play nice anymore so went after them for every minor discrepancy.
Can you indulge me here... if I wanted a blue car with leather seats and when I rock up the dealer produces a red car with beige velour, well I walk away.
It's not the first time a dealer has tried to sell a car that didn't conform 100% to what was agreed, but normally buyers walk. What did they say it had, that it didn't, but wasn't bad enough that you decided to buy it anyway. Sorry have I missed a page or something

In general, there were little niggles which I brought up, but at the time wasn't overly bothered about pushing for such bluetooth media streaming that was supposed to be on the car but wasnt. A tyre that wasnt matched to the other 3 (different version of pzero), a car 101 point report that was never done, little things really. But the car history, mileage, owners, mechanical condition was all spot on, likewise I took it down to Litchfeilds and had it independently inspected and they said the car was a great example, so I skimmed over the minor annoyances knowing I was buying a car in good mechanical condition.
Anyway, after they fobbed me off, I decided to get those niggles "sorted".
You know what the cost to have the on board entertainment system upgraded by Nissan to have media streaming enabled is? Well, put like this, you dont get much change out of 5k

so as ocuk motors would take it you bought a lemon?
Not necessarily. The car mechanically is fine, it was advertised wrong.
It's not exactly hard to understand :/
