so my VR PC temps were going through the roof, took the side off and noticed the radiator was soaking wet, took it out completely trying to avoid any components. Looks like the "handy" refill socket has decided to give up and pi$$ out the coolent. this one was already an RMA for failed pump in another unit. have emailed fractal but I don't know the warranty, the replacement date was October 2015. what ever happens I will be putting an air cooler back in the pc ..

Outside of benchmarking I've largely given up on watercooling and AIOs - too much randomness in pump noise and while I've not had a leak yet I've had fan failure more than once with bundled fans especially on the 1250 where they are non-replaceable and other issues that don't inspire me.

I'm thinking the same lines, tempted to ditch the antec one I have as well, the fittings are very poor. I have the broken eco and dark rock slim in others pcs and these are much better

ive went back to air this time as well, never used AIO either tho but its amazing how many people have had a similair problem to yourself.

my best friends psu went bang when his corsair decided to spring a leak. says hes never jumped as much in his life

Surely all that need's is tightening? Even taking it out and wrpping some ptfe tape around the threads should fix that unless the radiator has a crack in it.

possibly, have raised a ticket with fractal anyway. the manual just says to top up with distilled water. the cooler was in a phenom case, which are pain in the arse to work with need 8 hands

Have you tried tightening it? Why go through all the hassle of a RMA if tightening it will fix it? Same with a bit of ptfe tape wrapped around the threads.

Local supermarket is a good place to check. Our Asda sells 2.5Ltr bottles of de-ionised water for around £1.50. You will need a biocide/anti corrosion additive as well.

I stripped the pc at weekend, and in a weak moment i bought the carbide air 240 that had 25% discount. the quality isnt great, but its well designed and so easy to build in. I also forget i had a phanteks cooler i never used in another build which fitted a treat.
