im not sure on any options to use a more powerful one, but I've seen an old Shuttle XPC SD11G5 for £25 and it comes with a 220w power brick, if specs are correct then it only has a pentium M 770,2gb ddr2 support, so it be slow and okay, but thinking it might be good for some old gaming, which to do that would need a graphics card.

Think 7800gt was listed as an option for these computers, but I'd ideally want a dx11 card.

Anyone has or have one of these to share some insight?

Yep, basically would limit it to to around 75W max consumption cards.

TechPowerUp is good site to look for power consumption measurements of graphics card.
Anandtech or Tom's Hardware is another site with measurement's actual card's consumption.
