Deus Ex Mankind Divided Bench Thread.

Been having all sorts of problems trying to get this to run properly.

The results when it does run don't make sense.

I think the problems I am having are game dev/Win10 related rather than AMD or NVidia related.

For the record a pair of my RX480s are a tiny bit slower than a GTX 1080 (73.0fps v 75.7fps) when they all are overclocked and running DX12.

I am waiting for another update to the game before I try mGPU again.:)

I hope that all DX12 titles get MGPU if the scaling is going to be at least this good (First attempt 59% scaling), and I mean for both AMD and Nvidia. For years SLI/CF have been patchily implemented and as DX12 was supposed to go down another path and solve this issue then I think it can only be good for everyone in the long run, if MGPU works and works well. It just takes one more headache away from owners of multiple cards regardless of which team you support.

Well Done to the DEMD developers and may it continue to improve and expand to other games and development houses. :D

Looks good, i havent bought the game myself yet, i was waiting for Vega to appear before buying anything more demanding, since moving to 1440p my trusty old 290 is starting to take a hammering, its definitely starting to show its age, it fights on like a trooper and i definitely feel i had my moneys worth.

Tempted to buy 2 x 480's to tide me over til big Vega, atleast i know DXHR will run great on them at 1440p :)

Im still playing WoW mostly though and while my 290 still manages to provide a good gaming experience with that im tempted to wait, and also FF15 lurking for my Xbone on the horizon, should tide me over til Vega's arrival.

But the upgrade itch is soooo bad right now, pair of those HIS or XFX cards could be the answer :)

Are there any other games coming using this same engine that they used for DXHR? As it seems they managed to code DX12 MGPU fairly effectively for AMD cards.

Do yourself a favour and get a 2nd hand 290, it'll only cost ~£100 to test out mgpu, can be great at times, but can be highly frustrating when the game you want to play doesn't work.

True Tommy, but i just fancy something new, although the 480 is a bit of a sidegrade its still a small ugprade with regards to extra 4GB Vram and it seems to perform better than a 290 in a few games.

Anyhow for the sake of £500 or so i can get 2 of them, put the 290 in my kids PC (they play minecraft) and when Vega lands should still be able to get around £250+ for the 480's.
