i5 8400 won't boot with XMP enabled for 16 GB 3200 Mhz C16

i5 8400, GB Z370P D3, Team Group Vulcan 16 GB 3200 Mhz C16.

Just set this all up. The system won't boot if the XMP profile is enabled.

Is this likely to be bad RAM? Updating the BIOS made no difference.

It will run when set to 2666 Mhz. Any higher and it won't boot. Not sure why it goes from perfectly stable gaming at 2666 to not booting at 2700.

I swapped the DIMMS into the other sockets. Now XMP is working but only at 3060 Mhz. Strange. More manual tinkering required later on I think.
