Looking for a replacement to my Audio Technica ATH-700X open back headphones, as the left earcup has died. Budget is around £250, i already have an audio technica AT7070+ mic, so i dont need a mic.
Games i play are mostly Survival FPS games, so good directional sound, and sound isolation is key. Im soon moving in with some friends who also game, so i was already looking at going to a closed back headphone, but thought id open up to suggestions.
My setup i was looking to go for was a beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO with a FiiO - E10K Olympus USB DAC and Headphone Amp, which was about £170.
