Would appreciate if I could get my build checked. Been a while since I've had to shop for parts

- I can stretch to £1500 if there is a good reason
- Not going to upgrade any time soon so I've gone for the 350 chipset
- Not going to overclock right away so haven't sprung for an aftermarket cooler
- Have 1440p Freesync monitor so opting for AMD gfx
- Not sure if NVMe is worth it. Probably not?
- Heard that ryzen needs good ram so splashed out a little there

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £1,351.13 (includes shipping: £13.20)

If there are any bundles that could save me money then please recommend.

Lastly, need to have this system up and running by second week August. Any reason to wait a few weeks?

Cheers!

@Souness

Better board , same price ( was flagship for first Gen and has double the VRM and quality IR components that can handle future gen better )

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £1,320.49 (includes shipping: £12.60)

Cases are all personally choice. Built in that Corsair, and it's tight

Tad slightly more, give latest X470 board. Aorus 5 with best WiFi in class if that helps at all

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £1,412.49 (includes shipping: £12.60)
Plug the case Digital RGB straight into boards 3 Pin digital header and lights !

B450 is out end of the month, can't remember if it's last Tuesday or Thursday of the week . Aorus Pro wifi should hit £100 odd mark saving cash whilst being better then the Gaming 3

@orbitalwalsh I wouldn't quote that 2700X build since the value for money is terrible, the SSD is no where near free since there is a only £6 difference in buying the parts on there own, vs. getting the bundle.

OP, I'd suggest getting a better board, as other people have already said, and save £40 on the RAM just go for the normal Team Dark Pro 3200MHz, or even just the Vulcan 3200MHz for £149 and save £70, unless you plan on messing with the timings etc. then you are not getting £40-70 worth of better performance at all. :)

With non 8 Pack as suggested

parts as a sum

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £661.46 (includes shipping: £10.50)

bundle - Indeed , £98 (£74 when on sale) isn't the full FREE Value as its only saving £60

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £606.47 (includes shipping: £10.50)

all items buy them selves when not on sale

£700 - so yeah, with ram sale and Team Group sale going on it cuts into the value of the bundle a lot, but after 12pm , deals might change for better or for worse

8 Pack ram version

Items by them selves - on sale/current price

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £730.46 (includes shipping: £10.50)

Bundle - £86 Saving, closer to the full value of the FREE £98 SSD

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £655.46 (includes shipping: £10.50)

When items not on sale- £760

as for ram, even Vulcan and Pro can have issues being slapped in an Board X370/B350/X470/B450 and have teething issues, samsung B-die just makes chances less or easier to work around.
But will admit, im slightly Bias to @8 Pack version over standard as use it a lot more then rest of team group , though new stuff is pretty :D

The deals seem to be a complete mess.

AMD Promo Bundle - AMD Ryzen 7 2700X, Gigabyte X370-Gaming K7, Team Group RAM *FREE 480GB SSD* = £644.96
or

AMD Promo Bundle - AMD Ryzen 7 2700X, Gigabyte X370-Gaming K7, Team Group RAM *FREE 480GB SSD* = £595.97

At £595, it's a deal, at £644.96 it's not... :confused::confused::confused: my head hurts, maybe I am just being stupid/tired.

i have seen, when items go and leave a daily sale it can effect the coding , one day its cheaper or more expensive even though a part its self become cheaper or more expensive

Seems Board has free Farcry 5 Copy, and then another free copy via AMD VEGA promo hahahaha @Souness

Look at the Ram :) One bundle has the Team Group T-Force Ram and the other has 8Pack Dark Pro Ram. That is where the price diff is.

fair play that they are allowing a few choices , personally if doing sales, you stick 8 pack or lower end version - naturally middle ram selection would seem most appealing for speed and £££

It's a damn good deal !

Selecting 8 Pack Samsung B-Die will always saves headaches and work more times as advertised on ryzen

As mentioned above , damn good deal

Case is a matter of personal choice. Lian Li Dynamic is hot cake of the week but a bit more of a cost and no fans

Total: £1,410.26 (includes shipping: £14.10)
