Mind is fried after wrestling with IKEv2 all day.

The new Mac Mini - SODIMM 2666Mhz DDR4. Erm. What am I looking for*? If anyone could link to the right overclockers product that would be grand, thanking you. Need 64Gb ideally.

*Yes. I'm looking for 2666Mhz DDR SODIMM's. So thanks for that :p

So it would appear I need 2 x 32Gb, not 4x16Gb. I can't find any 32Gb sticks.

MEH. How will I survive with only 32Gb in my Mac Mini?

Buy a different machine? :p

What do you intend to use it for? I’m toying with the idea of one but haven’t pulled the trigger yet as the truth is my 2017 MBP is fine currently

It's a virtual machine host running Active Directory, PKI, some Exchange and Skype for Business. Replacing a 2017 iMac i7 that I've sold.

It's about OK with 32Gb from the look of it. Have to say the i7 mini is properly powerful - about on par with my i9 Macbook pro.

I'm considering one for virtualisation stuff, GNS3 labs etc. I'd probably go i5 or i7 with 32GB RAM installed myself but I think I'm going to try and melt my Macbook Pro first just to convince myself I need it

I've done a ton of benchmarks comparing it to my i9 and iMac Pro. Other than graphics it's a very impressive bit of kit. I'll post them here when I've finished tidying them up.
