Hi, i am well out of the loop when it comes to building PC's and have been asked to build a gaming system for a friends lad - for Christmas!

The budget is £700 all in including monitor, gaming keyboard, gaming mouse and Windows 10.

Any advice or build suggestions welcome.

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £725.88 (includes shipping: £14.10)

windows 10 via media creation onto a USB
could install windows to HDD and link SSD via StoreMI for a large fast hybrid drive

Okay, thanks. I'm going to copy and paste those parts to my friend and he should be ordering those today.

push the £10 on te 8gb RX 570 if you can . good deal not to. dont forget to highlight i think 2 free games comes with it as well , choice from 3

just selected Gigabyte as was £10 cheaper and wasnt sure how budget would line up. but plus side mobo and gpu are both UK RMA

Just a bit of advice. Don't quote a price until you are certain about the final costs. It's embarrassing having to go back to them and tell them it's going to cost more than you thought.
