To upgrade or buy new set up

My desktop has got dated and struggles more on new games

motherboard ga-78lmt-usb3 6.0
CPU Fx6300
Gtx750i
16gb ram
I was thinking of just buying a new CPU and GPU? Or should I just buy a whole new better setup?

Catch 22, slap in RX 570 on the cheap with 2 free games for £150 odd and your CPU will still hold it back to its full potential .
What's your budget ?

About £1k. That’s only for the machine though as I have a new monitor.

Msi optix 144 refresh rate. il probably build it. Unless I see a bargain. the one I have was the last one I built in 2015/2016. I do have to use you tube to help though as I don’t have much experience.

Not worth upgrading IMHO. With a 1k budget you can get a large performance jump and a system for the next few years.
