I do see them a few times a day. If i stare at the sky i see loads of them. The squiggly line ones make me a bit nervous but they go as soon as they appear.

I had them bad when I contracted sepsis and ended up attached to bags of antibiotic in hospital. I do not know it they were a side effect or a warning. Eventually they did almost disappear again. That was in 2013 and it has not recurred.

I’m exactly the same :/.

They used to really bother me but had them probably several years now and I don’t really notice them anymore, or at least they don’t bother me anymore.

I also have visual snow (very rare), scheerers phenomenon (rare), starbursting. Story of my life lol.

But I still have 20:20 and no need for glasses so could be worse I guess.

I see visual snow if i stare at something i will start seeing shimmering particles if that makes sense. Also i see white dots on brighht backgrounds sometimes..

I think everyone one has this, some notice it more than others. I read somewhere a while back that we have these as these "floaters" are there due to the way the eye forms while we are growing. i could also be wrong. it could be aliens.

It is a mind over matter thing. I had a 3-4 month period where I focused on them and it became a real issue for a while and I had started to look for a medical solution. Then my mind started to focus on other things and I now don't know they are there. I suspect OP you will be the same. Mind over matter with floaters.

I've had floaters in my eyes since I was very small. I noticed them when looking to the sky on a bright day and when squinting they became clearer. I thought they were normal and never said anything about them.

Over time I've stopped noticing them as I guess my brain just filters them out but they are still there as when I remember I have them they come out and about to say hello.

I too have always noticed floaters. I remember a child looking up to a cloudless sky noticing them, as they moved across my peripheral view. Typically as soon as you try and focus on an interesting squiggly one it then vanishes.

I rarely notice them as much these days, probably due to other stuff falling apart with my aged body !
