Invisible files on Windows drive

Hi.

Recently bought a replacement C drive for a laptop.

I installed Windows on the new drive and plugged the old drive back as C then copied all the files to the public folder of the new drive.

When I plugged the new drive back in, the system is reporting the space as taken but the files are invisible to space sniffer and Windirstat in admin mode.

How do I get these files to show up or reclaim the space?

If you don't need access to any more files you could fix it in Disk Management.

How please, disk management is only showing a normal partition structure.

Is it only showing one structure for the whole drive and not any reserved/unallocated partitions?

Other than the main partition, just a a half gb recovery partition that the laptop seems to have forced on.

I would try to delete that if it is not needed anymore and make it a single volume.
