Auros X7 Repair

Hi

I have an X7 in for repair, the right hinge is broken and the VGA cable is also damaged but I cannot for love nor money find one to complete the repair. It has the 30 pin connection to the display panel not the 40 pin version. Is anyone able to point me in the right direction, I'd be very grateful.

Thanks for the tip - but still no joy. Stumbled on a few other posts that mention MendIT, so I've contacted them directly to see if they can help. In the meantime, if anyone else has any tips....

Aliexpress look to have some of those cables.

Where have you taken it into repair? Local pc shop? I dremmeled grooves into the HS screws on mine so I could tighten it as knackered some of the heads, now the heads have totally snapped off, heatsink not tight enough AND can't unscrew it as screw heads gone!

MendIT require proof of purchase to even tell me if they have the hinge & cable *sigh*. Trying to plough through AliExpress this morning - but it's search function changes "Aorus" to "arouse" and I'm not getting the hits I think I need :eek:
