I second this choice.

It's the obvious direction to go and fulfills every need and want ever. Especially in Blue.

Then spend the savings on an £8k 150k mile Porsche 911 (996).

I think I've yet to see a single Astra on the road with the LED headlights specced, not entirely surprising considering the cost but a real shame they didn't offer an intermediate option to bring it on par with the likes of the Leon which has had them for years already.
